“My work has been progressing for the last 25 years as a self-taught abstract expressionist in the medium of acrylics.
“Deep and rich colours influence my emotion on the canvas, and I choose strong, vibrant colours to evoke strong sensations from the viewer.
“I have been studying my Ojibwe heritage, drawing from it and creating spectacular images of nativer abstract designs. My work has been inspired by Norval Morrisseau, who is my hero in the First Nations art world.
“When the human eye starts to focus on my work, it receives a beautiful story never seen before.”
