“Dramatic landscapes, iconic Canadian wildlife and the intricacy of human physiology fascinate me and are the subjects of my work. My painterly representations employ bold colour-fields and an intuitive mapping of the emotional, spiritual and physical topography of my subjects.
“I integrate outdoor encounters and the act of engaging the landscape in order to evoke both the radiant beauty and ferocity of life’s transient pathways. From mixing pigments into hot wax, repurposing materials, and connecting intimately with the Canadian wilderness, I aim to make, responsibly art that inspires others to express and experience the created world.”
