“My patience and determination for my art are only exceeded by my passion for painting”.
An acrylic artist primarily specializing in scenery, Sheldon Goldman was born and raised in Montreal and presently resides in Maple, ON, with his wife and Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
Having sketched and painted for over 50 years, he spent many years painting watercolours and he uses a similar layering technique for his acrylic landscapes. He has strived to use light in his paintings to indicate depth and distance. His philosophy when painting is “to use and incorporate whatever works.” He therefore uses abstraction as well as impressionism in his realistic works.
Some of his previous experience in these techniques was used while painting with Joyce Wieland. Sheldon has exhibited across North America and has sold his works to private collections.
