Giancarlo Piccin was born in Toronto to Italian immigrant parents and his talent for drawing and painting was evident at an early age. He graduated from the Ontario College Of Art and Design where he studied Fine Art and was considered to be one of the most talented students in his class.
Over the years, Giancarlo has exhibited in both group and solo shows and his work is collected internationally. He specializes in oils, watercolours, drawing, mixed media and digital artwork.
Giancarlo constantly strives to push himself in new directions, always learning from both his contemporaries and receiving inspiration from his major influences - Salvador Dali, Leonardo Da Vinci and Robert Rauschenberg. Giancarlo lives with his wife and son in Heart Lake, Ontario.
