The Artist shares her source of inspiration for creating these three pieces:
"For me, abstract art is an emotional response to your inner thoughts. These three paintings were a focus of gratitude for me. A life of colour and abundance. The changing seasons of our lives. Giving yourself in to the process is important. It can happen quickly or over a period of time. It's an act of letting go."
Barbara-Jean Lovell has always been an artist. Drawing and Painting began at a young age in her hometown of Collingwood. Growing up in a small Canadian town shaped her love of nature and the changing seasons. British Columbia provided a continued backdrop for several years as trees, water and landscape became a favourite subject matter, and, in particular, how they survive our ever-changing, windswept seasons.
Barbara-Jean Lovell lives and creates her art in Niagara Falls, Canada.
